San Francisco Sheriff's Department This 24 hour training is presented through the Monterey County Sheriff's Department in a modular format on varied days and shifts. The topics include first aid/CPR, suicide prevention, defensive tactics, interpersonal communications, cell extraction and more. .5 Unit College Credit Prerequisites/Requirements: Basic Corrections Academy Certificate or equivalent, current 1st aid/CPR card, DOJ clearance, proof of medical and vehicle insurance, and valid CDL. * Additional Course Lab Fees may apply.
