Course Information

Description

This course teaches four wheel drive off road emergency responses. Using the techniques learned in this off road evoc course, will be able to significantly increase its patrol and response area. The latest technology and adult learning concepts will be used to deliver the following topics: Defensive Driving, Emergency Responses, Off-road Operations, and Pursuit Driving. Students will learn how to negotiate different types of terrain, the concept of "mechanical sympathy", and how to make sound decisions in the field. It will also include a discussion of how to set up and equip off road response vehicles, and how to use various types of tools including winches. The course includes realistic response scenarios.

This course is designed for public safety agencies that are required to drive 4 wheel drive vehicles as part of their duties.
