Fireline S-223 Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic

Description

This course will cover necessary information for EMTs and Paramedics to function as a single resource on wildland fires.  The class will review the typical emergencies, equipment needs, interface with the MEDL, emergency evacuations, wildland safety considerations, navigation and responsibilities. 

Designed For

This course currently has no certification, but will received a course completion certificate from Paso Robles Fire Emergency Services. It gives the fire line medics or those pursuing the position practical advice on current guidelines for the position.
