Fire Large Animal Rescue

Description

Fire departments are beginning to play a vital role in large animal rescues. Moreover, since these rescues can be a hazardous activity and pose a risk of serious injury or death, the safety of rescuers must be the first priority. This course provides the knowledge and skills necessary so responders can work in "concert" with each other, guided by an understanding of horse characteristics and behavior.
