Description
This course provides information on conducting incident size-up, developing and implementing an initial plan of action involving single and multiunit operations for various types of emergency incidents to mitigate the situation following agency safety procedures, conducting preincident planning, and develop and conduct a post-incident analysis.
Prequisite
1.) Meets the educational requirements of Fire Fighter II or four (4) years as a career fire fighter, or six (6) years as a volunteer fire fighter.
2.) ICS-200.B: Incident Command System For Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
3.) Hazardous Material Incident Commander (as offered by the California Specialized Training Institute)
