Basic Patrol Rifle Course

Description

This is a 24 operators course designed to introduce the proper carry, maintenance and use of the tactical or patrol rifle. No standard model is required or designated. Students will be moving forward, backward, laterally, and at oblique angles to get off the line of attack. Quick yet smooth movement will be emphasized and reinforced to get the rifle into the fight quickly. Some mobility by the student is required.

Designed For:

Persons who use a tactical rifle in enforcement situations.  Non-agency personnel must have a current DOJ clearance, personal liability insurance coverage and proof of health insurance. They are responsible for all of their own ammunition, safety equipment, duty belt, slings and rifle.  Possession of a Basic California Police Academy Certification or equivalent skills is also required.
