Smedlund, Ernie

Ernie Smedlund is the Director of Administrative Services at South Bay. He oversees the front office Instructional Support staff at the Coyote Valley Center as well as the Fiscal Unit, to include payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and human resources. Ernie started at South Bay in December of 2010 after a 29-year career in Law Enforcement with the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office. Ernie retired at the rank of Captain in December of 2005 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from San Jose State University.
