OpenCCC Instructions

As a student of South Bay Regional PSTC, you will be required to apply through OpenCCC, the mechanism by which the majority of our community colleges collects your information for registration and transcription purposes.

“What if I don’t need the college credit?” you may ask. Not only is the OpenCCC system a means by which we register you, it is also how we are reimbursed for costs of presenting the course you want or need to attend. Please note that if you do not complete the application through OpenCCC, additional fees may be required.

Please do not begin this process until you have a confirmed reservation in the class. At that time, someone will direct you to click on one of the instructional pages found below or you may find the “College of Record” on the course flyer. If no College of Record exists on the flyer, please email the “NAME@theacademy.ca.gov” contact found on the flyer or call our main office at 408-229-4299.

NOTE: If the college of record for your class is one of the following, please do nothing at this time. You will complete a paper application with South Bay until further notified:

  • Hartnell College
  • Lake Tahoe Community College
