Annual Training

The Academy provides a comprehensive annual training program in corrections. Our unique relationship with eight community colleges allows us to deliver necessary and meaningful training, while awarding college credit.

Courses are available for the new officer and seasoned veteran alike. Our course catalog includes a variety of established training, as well as classes available for modification to meet agency specific needs. The Academy works directly with corrections agencies to provide and support scheduled annual training that is planned or currently being offered.

Our staff of curriculum specialists works directly with Standards and Training Authority (STA), regional agencies, and the colleges to ensure the greatest benefit to the public safety community.
